Good Morning Worlds

Good Morning Worlds!
I have loaded all the tools back in the car as we have another Repair Cafe to go to.
This one is at Gorton Monastery and is a Pop-Up run by 'Recycle 4 GM'.We are only doing this one as it might be our last try with Pop-Up Repair Cafes. All the previous ones have been unsuccessful as events, and extremely hard work.
So, eggs for breakfast, as is tradition, and then I need to make my own lunch as there probably won't be anything suitable for me at the event.

The pop-up repair cafe was really good.
Well organised and with a good number of clients attending.
We also got to meet other Manchester repairers we hadn't met before. They also had food I could eat, albeit just a cup of soup, but that was really good soup!I worked on:
A trophy - It needed separating from its base for re-silvering.A 1960s lamp - I showed the client how to replace the push button switch.
A clock - I was unable to repair a broken spring.
A wall wart PSU - repaired both ends of the low voltage wire.A power washer - Advised to bring to a regular repair cafe due to time.
A tree pruner - needs welding, so homework.
A dehumidifier - Power supply board only 4.7V instead of 12V, will bring to a regular repair cafe.
I also supplied tools and advice to other repairers and mentored a volunteer.
We might also be on Granada Tonight News.

I fixed a torn coat, a couple of unravelled jumpers, a holey rucksack and some extra ventilated jeans.
All in an amazing setting!

I have done the homework, welding the tree pruner.
The main pivot pin for the compound action lever was missing. I turned a new one and welded it in place. -
