@pollyglot @amanjeev the only downside to these is that not all your passwords are for websites and browsers password managers are generally not designed for that.
It’s a tougher question than it sounds because none of the password managers work all the time so you have to actually open it to go get a password, or they add “helpful” obfuscating tool tips and offers to create passwords every time they sense a form on a page.
There’s a lot of work to be done on usability in all of them, imo

@amanjeev I've used KeepassXC, Bitwarden and Proton Pass. Proton is my favorite, we're using a family plan which allows easy sharing of credentials. Proton supports a wide range of platforms and browsers and just works.

For someone who has never used a password manager before, I would place solid web browser integration high on my list of requirements.

@mkj mixed platform. this is a large group. so i expect a lot of people from all sorts of backgrounds.
