      @meet_judith I have always loved the Reader's Digest compendiums of craft books. I learned all the basics of crochet, knitting, and sewing from the needlework book. There is one for fine art and another for traditional crafts like wood and leather. I find them at thrift stores and used bookstores. They have great illustrations to show you how to do the thing. I am left handed and they had instructions to help me. Whenever i wanna just get some ideas and look at a bunch of craft books, I know of no better place than the library.
