Since I read the info on the verification process, supposedly fully on device, and user name options (real or something else) for now I tend to give it the benefit of doubt. It might even reduce malicious fake accounts.

In designing my own #cloud services I quickly came to a simple yet powerful conclusion: if you model the infrastructure around personal freedom and digital sovereignty you don’t even need ID verification. You cryptographically own your identity, period.
