Passed this refilling station, where you can grab a bottle of water or a snack and pay via QR code!

Made it to the top, in a bit under 2 hours.

Hiked the last few meters together with this person, who really wanted to take a selfie with a foreigner! ๐Ÿ˜‰

On the ascent, I got to practice my nวhวŽo a lot, the trail was somewhat busy!

People seem surprised, but happy, when I try. And then often respond something I don't understand. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Maybe meaning "good luck, you can do it"?

And I got an English "Welcome to China!" ๐Ÿ˜›

@freedomtux @blinry and how would you verify this? A scammer didnโ€™t need to stick a QR code on top but could simply swap the cards. (And would also probably disclose their identity by doing that)

@blinry they probably look confused because Shenzhen doesn't have a lot of white people, let alone white people who bother learning any Chinese. Could you attempt to romanize what they say back to you? I speak a bit and my wife speaks more (we currently live in China for work) so I might be able to tell you what they're saying.
