Happy Mother's Day, Fediverse!
Back during Covid lockdown, I answered a Craigslist ad for a 9-month-old Chiweenie. I've been Jaxon's mummy ever since. Attached is the first photo I took of Jaxon, the day he arrived, and a photo I took today. Same bed; very different dog.
So today's 3 Good Things centers on being a dogmom to a dog with special emotional and psychological needs.
I am never alone. Like I literally can't even pee by myself, lol 
and when I use the bathroom, suddenly he *also* must "go", so I never have to worry about not getting enough sun, because Jaxon will sniff every square inch of the backyard until he finds that one that's the perfect spot to drop his little bomb. I am never afraid of being caught at home alone, because Jaxon would gladly gut any strangers like a fish. This is kind of a big deal because I wanted a dog for protection at home. On the other paw, Jaxon has been formally uninvited to the big family Christmas. I never have to worry about having cold feet at night. Jaxon sleeps on the bed and puts off so much body heat that winter is never an issue. But don't get me started about summer!#mothersday #dogsofmastodon
