Is Fedora Silverblue meant for power users?
Because so far I've had to do some very unintuitive things with Flatseal to get two different apps to work. And Flatseal was not installed by default, I think, and there was no hint that I needed to use a different app to change settings, or what I should do.
I did not have this issue with Gnome OS, which is almost 100% Flatpak based.

@jablkoziemne I had to change filesystem access for
- Zen browser to be able to download anything into any folder. Flatseal said it should already have access to xdg-download, but I was unable to download anything even there, and I should be able to download to any folder, not just the downloads folder.
- Gradia to be able to open any image at all, except for the six images it suggest upon startup. Flatseal said it had access to xdg-pictures, but again same issue as above. -

@forteller the fact that you had problems with Silverblue but not with GNOME OS is quite curious

@forteller It's probably because you used the Fedora Flatpaks (that come by default on Silverblue) and GNOME OS uses the Flathub ones.
I recommend using Flatpaks from Flathub.
Can you share what permissions you had to fix?

I can't really imagine that. Unless the app needed new permissions in the meantime and that's why it didn't work properly anymore. Which apps were those?
