We are going to the Community Workshop this morning. No idea what to do there today. The group wants to discuss some potential work to fund the workshop. I have my doubts at this stage.Later I think I will have a sort though some of my old paperwork.
How much of my teenage stuff do I shred? Almost all of it, I guess. -

Last time I tried to work through that I was stopped by the shredder overheating.

Yeah, this is all teenage correspondence with folks I haven't seen or heard from for over 40, maybe 45 years.No one is gonna miss those memories.
I am so glad I found and rebuilt a 1980s commercial shredder, a few years back.

I had a terrible night's sleep, waking up drenched in cold sweat again.
Not had that happen in a while, and really unpleasant getting back into a a cold damp bed after towelling dry.So very tired now. I blame yesterday, as it isn't here to argue its case.

Almost all of it, I guess.If you can afford it, something we did when clearing out decades of paperwork, was to use those shredding bags that are provided for businesses to shred confidential waste. Van turns up and the papers are disposed of. Saved burning out a domestic shredder and made the process easier as you didn’t waste cognitive time waiting for it to go through before being able to do the next. Check, bag, done. And the just phone for collection.

Ahhh, yes.It's ok, though, as a few years ago I found a commercial shredder from the 1980s in our basement. I stripped it down and refurbished it. It has dealt with hundreds of kilos of paper and card already.
The harder part is sifting through it all and reliving fond and embarrassing memories from my youth.
