#Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A euphoric looking white dog (staffy?) with floppy black ears is sitting in the middle of a flowing river.
Water flowing around his chest and back.
    Eyes half closed in happiness.
    A stick in his mouth.
    Pure doggy bliss.

A couple (20s?) are sprawled out, starfish style, talking softly and laughing in the middle of a sports oval in a pretty, tree lined valley.
An energetic dog (spaniel?) happily doing laps around them.
    Birds singing.
    Cicadas click-clicking.
A nearby river gurgling on its way to the sea.

A small human (3?) sitting behind his business-suited dad as they cycle into town has worked out a way to make this ride entertaining.
Poking Dad's bottom as Dad pedals.
Dad wryly saying: "Yeah, not helping, mate."
Howling with laughter, Poking Small Human disagrees.

A man (30s?) dressed in a rather dapper dressing gown is jauntily walking down a quiet shady street on a sunny morning.
    Jandals on his feet.*
An electric guitar slung over his shoulder.
A cheerful grin on his face.

A big group of mountain bikers of all ages, makes and models are riding along a riverside track towards a popular mountain biking hill. Touching base on how they've all been the past week. Calling out to warn walkers ahead, thanking them politely when they pass.

Any typos spotted in this post just mowed the very steep and massive jungle surrounding their home over lunch and would like to report spotting one hedgehog, five local cats and a lot of very discombobulated spiders. If typos spotted, they'll be having a nice cup of tea and a sandwich.

*Jandals are the Kiwi term for flip flops or thongs. The term is a portmanteau of "Japanese sandals."

@robini71 thank you. It's just regular gumboot tea, which is the kiwi term for basic black tea, with a splash of milk. Are you a tea drinker too?

@georgepenney *is that dog sitting in the middle of the river, that three year old poking his dad's bottom while laughing uproariously, and one of the mountain bikers biking. Oh, and I'm also that spaniel because I have a spaniel and she's precious*

@georgepenney Oh yes, yes, yes I love tea. No milk here though and a smidge of something to sweeten it a cube of sugar or Splenda or Stevia or good ole honey.

@georgepenney That's an interesting name for it I wonder how they came upon that term.

@georgepenney "not helping, mate" seems definitive. That's what he signed up for.
