    @anemone @k4t3 it’s unclear because github specifically hides claude from the commit search even though it has a number of commits attributed to it on the insights page, but i believe it’s when a commit is authored by claude

      @mia what makes helix more slop than vim/nvim?

      we are trying to push for a genai ban on helix:
      github.com/helix-editor/helix/discussions/15408

      if it does not succeed. i am forking helix

                i am currently not using helix until this is resolved. i'm just hoping.

                  @lumi tbh i just assigned it bonus points for corpo-friendly licensing and a very soft stance on it that sees LLM slop mostly as an annoyance to devs

                      @mia @k4t3

                      There is Gram, a fork of zed, but it's not LLM-free, I think they plan rewriting LLM-made parts (don't remember their repo or site saying that, but slopware lists and Starlight Network No-AI list imply that), but for now they mostly removed LLM features and alike.

                        Emacs has always and will always be correct because it was not constructed by man but revealed by heaven.

                          @mia honestly kakoune is very disappointing here, the editor specifically built to not be a monolith and to compose with the system accepts changes made with something that opposes everything kakoune is about

                          last i checked, it's only one commit, but urgh
