@Mastodon I wish you all the best on improving the interface. I have only just started to learn the keybindings for the web interface, which seems pretty solid. There really isn't much advantage to using tut from the terminal unless you never intend to render the imagery.There doesn't seem to be very much lacking from the interface, so hopefully you do not intend to change any of that.Most likely list/groups/collections?

@Mastodon @imanijoy That's cool and all but the corporate lingo is so cringe, and the "(eta Fall 2026)" is assuming you live in the northern emisphere...I don't mean to be rude, but come on... the way this is written is totally out of touch with the Fediverse community...

@MastodonEngineering Lots of focus on redesign and new features but I wish you'd focus more on basic shortcomings that have been around for a long time.For example there's been a PR open for more than a year that addresses a major shortcoming of federation: backfilling posts to empty profiles of users. No real explanation for why it can't be merged in experimental form...
