@iju I’m totally agreeing with you.
The absurdity I was trying to point out: plans to force age checks don’t make sense, if the goal is to keep “young Europeans (aged 16–29)” safe (I’m citing @EUCommission’s picture here). Verifying that a young person is of age does not make them more safe, if they are then still exploited the same way than without the age checks.
What age-appropriate special protections would we require specifically for 16–29-year-olds?
