I see how it’s related, but I think we are mixing the two topics: 1. Kids shouldn’t have access to social media. 2. Privacy.
I think big companies are trying us to get stuck in the second topic as if it was the main point but it’s not. What some governments are trying to do is to stop our kids to get access to something that has proven to be addictive and toxic.
We can discuss the how, but it is a fallacy to say that we can’t protect kids without killing privacy
