@WTL @blogdiva it is a very delicate act: he can’t firebomb the place on his exit, he’s not Tucker Carlson.
He needs to be able to work again in a system that is owned by fewer and fewer companies, and that is doing a sharp turn to the right. If he’s not careful, he may end up in the periphery, like Conan O’Brian, Samantha Bee and so many others.
I’m sad about the rest of the people that work in the show: they will have a hard time finding a job like that one.

@mastodonmigration or— hear me out— the media can go techbroh-speak and call them a thriving community of pederasts, pedophiles and rapists. A community that have this ancient lifestyle, a calling, that comes from beloved ancestors.
They have managed to disrupt society with their modern interpretation of these rituals, and should remain unencumbered by guilt or consequences, like any Roman would.
To inconvenience them is to question the very idea of western civilization. <|s
@flauschtext @CStamp @skinnylatte Santiago de Chile managed to clean up “El Mapocho” river. It is full of rocks and there’s no way for humans to swim in it, but the fauna came back: there are local species of fish and birds. The flora changes with the seasons. It is beautiful.

@clew @ArtHarg @mattwilcox I’m writing about other aspects of LLM as well, not only coding.
For instance, in my field of UX it is difficult to believe that the same personas and behaviors from the US population applies to Latinamerica or even Europe.
This happen in many other fields too.
@ArtHarg @mattwilcox this open opportunities for societies that either don’t have the means to hire all the platforms needed to implement the AI stack, access to the currency, or the models don’t produce good results in their language.
