Saw on the Supernote Beta reddit that we’re getting a plgin SDK based on React and Hermes. I know there’s a very small number of nerds here that use e-ink tablets, but this is a big deal. I’ve seen a couple of the beta plugins people built. One was a fitness tracker, another was a Sudoku generator — and this is all with a beta SDK that isn’t even public yet. To me that’s exciting; it means the Supernote is about to get even more features, and they won’t require giving up the experience of just using electronic paper. No App Store, no Google, just… extensibility. This is hot off the presses after they released their private cloud docker image, too.
