well, libcurl and openssl work great on old UNIX (the fediverse instance I am speaking to you from is as old as an IP32), and json-c is pretty good in terms of portability. I look forward to messing with it!!

you are using null null, unfortunately fae doesn't know much about this software so cannot tell if it's up-to-date or not,,, :(I'm on at least snac 2.89 "snac/2.90-dev" (snac: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, IBM S/390, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.2.10, dynamically linked, not stripped) and that's apparently really old!
