When I was a teen, I was a member of an anime club held at the university of Toronto.@waffles i recall having the similar thing in my hometown but it's not a "club" but 'twas called "clan" a random group of not totally "strangers" kind of peole w/ mostly same taste in musicgenre,anime/manga type,Fashion etc.
