@mttaggart I actually prefer the older forum systems because threads are normal and history is easier to search. Discord is great for games where it provides a voice chat alternative, but for long term communities it can fall short of capturing shared knowledge. I hope more folks move back to forum software.

I was an early Twitter user and enjoyed it for a while socially, and fondly remember TweetUps where people would meet at coffee shops and network. Then transitioned to using it mostly for work related content like infosec news. Then after Elon ruined it, I left for Mastodon. Haven't used it in a couple years. Now it's worse than no reason to keep it. There are reasons, plural, to delete it.
