"That sleight of hand is not a common symptom of dementia.@mattdm I kinda think that modern chemical and computational genomics must have left traditional theory-based evolutionary biologists feeling pretty used and abused, and that's left him grasping for a place in the world.
But also the guy is just a huge dickbag who not only hasn't done anything worthwhile since 1975 but also puts a bad name to everything he gets involved with.

Are there owners of a #Nikon #Z8 or #Z9 on mastodon which are also in possession of a color checker target? -
So the "Bun being a vibe coded rewrite from Zig to Rust" is a different story than I think it's being sold as, from everything I can see.@federicomena @cwebber Except the "at scale" part is a bit of an illusion. It's a one-off with resources almost no other project can hope to have in the near term.

The President of the United States has little understanding of how elections work despite winning two of them@doyle.boston Doesn't have a strong grasp on capital letters, either. Also uses a ton of them.

Just curious.@lkundrak @mattdm At the end of the day we're talking about weird levels of either or both production and reuptake of two different neurotransmitters, so it's a 4 variable problem that's completely in the analog domain. So it's not surprising the field of experiences is pretty evenly spread within the common results.

Netgear is the first consumer router company to spam me about being compliant with Trump's FCC's policies.Netgear is the first consumer router company to spam me about being compliant with Trump's FCC's policies.
Coincidentally they're also a company I stopped buying routers from many years ago due to built-in backdoors they couldn't fix with a firmware upgrade.
