@randahl I understand your distaste for DF. But if they have to choose between a center right government or another term for Mette Frederiksen, then they are going to have to make some concessions on that. I think their distaste for Lars Løkke is more of an obstacle - and it’s probably mutual.
And as I tried to explain, what looks unacceptable to someone the left wing is not the same to us on the right wing. To us it’s good that DF can pull some voters from the social democrats.
@randahl It’s obvious that people here on Mastodon are more left leaning, but that also blinds you guys a little. If you were never considering voting for a right wing party then none of this matters to the election outcome.
Eg. LA voters prefer Alex’ admitting his mistakes over Mette’s blatant lying about the mink scandal and text message deleting. And if the conservatives manage to steal some votes from LA because of the coke, then those voters are still in blue block.
@randahl The odds do favour a certer left government, but this is because the moderates look like they’re going to have the deciding votes again. And the Danish peoples party and Denmark democrats are going to have a hard time accepting a coalition with the moderates.
The alleged dumpster fire is overstated. Venstre may be loosing support because of their involvement with the current coalition. But all the other right wing parties are doing well in the polls.
