@djb @glen_malley We've always been very free. We are adults we can manage our time ourselves. But now we are being assimilated in to Japanese corporate culture we are being treated like 5 year olds.

As we are assimilated by the borg that is our Japanese parent company we are being forced to give up many modern solutions .. for example giving up online calendars for office whiteboards. Its laughable. But comply I will, because you can't argue with old Japanese men.

@glen_malley I often work on site with devices that can not connect to the internet. This year alone I've saved the day 3 times as the only person who could transfer files via USB.

So, I can either carry a 2nd private PC that works, or maliciously comply. I choose to comply. If they want to block me from doing my job, that's on them.

Damn. I’m getting a new company laptop.
