@bruces a place (such as the earth) can have a post-history. You can even gaze upon it, personally. All you have to do is go on a sufficiently high-speed holiday, and when you come back, the place will be covered in it.

Thus the thing we’re evaluating is a product of complexity and remaining time. We might even ask about the *quality* of that life, as opposed to just counting the cells.

I am looking for maker spaces in the south-eastern / bayside corner of Naarm who might want a few cubic meters of woodwork tools, including a couple of truly magnificent lockable tool chests on wheels.I’d love to keep them myself, but it’s looking increasingly unlikely that I will have space.
If I can’t keep them, I’d at least like to keep using them, and hopefully meet some awesome people in the process.
