Especially journalists who have done thorough research and created curated journalism.

I have always thought of it as incomprehensible the idea that you buy a modern smartphone with the principle that the OSs are designed
a) to scrape as much of your data as possible and
b) connected to App stores designed to make you spend as much money as possible and grab even more of your data
in order to have access to "secure" messaging.Good that the basis for my scepticism has now been confirmed.
