speaking of which
given that kate bush wrote her "wuthering heights" masterpiece song after only seeing the back half of a movie adaptation coz she'd fallen asleep on her couch and it playing on the tv woke her up
what a missed opportunity by emerald fennell to not get that song for her equally informed/faithful movie (i say as someone who enjoyed the movie for the romp that it was)
it takes supercritical levels of girltwink for the song playing in your head to go from "wuthering heights" by kate bush to "one of your girls" by troye sivan like i just did
