In 1995, I had a 78 Monte Carlo with a rusted frame that had approximately the same range and top speed. Unfortunately, it probably burned enough gas to offset your efforts by a significant margin.

You ever get the urge to do a "modern" conversion? My wife and I miss our butt-ugly Honda Element every day and I often think about how much fun an electric one would be. Hopefully Honda has the same idea.
