@swannodette That was one of its explicit design goals. There are a few features in there that are not really exposed in Objective-C. I really wanted to build a system where you could wrap C libraries and expose everything to end users for extension. Unfortunately, for this to be safe it needs a security model with better sharing than is possible on conventional hardware, which is why I moved on to CHERI.
