As an ex #government functionary, I have seen first-hand how citizen appeals to authority decisions are handled. Basically, you only stand any chance of getting a reconsideration if that will allow some functionary to stick it to a hated colleague that made the first call. Only then.This too will go away once #AI models are used to make the calls - there's no personal wins to be had, for anyone. We're so screwed. Really.
