@sugar Cute pet story:
When Levi was a little baby puppy he used to almost exclusively walk/run sideways (like literally tripping over himself to run fully sideways while facing forwards), and we got worried he may have an injury or pain or something so we asked our vet about it and she checked him and and watched him walk and was just like "yea, he's totally fine, he just hasn't really figured out existing yet. lots of puppies have a weird little behavior like this, it'll probably just fade with time", and sure enough after a few months he (mostly) stopped doing it (he still runs semi-sideways when he gets really excited sometimes).
Then like 6m later we got Noah and he kept just randomly from standing still just kinda slowly falling down to laying on his side then looking around the room oddly- and since we had been through the Levi situation we were like "okay, maybe this is his weird puppy behavior... but we should deff check since this seems like it could easily be a health issue too", and the vet very calmly was just like "he doesn't realize he has to actively stay standing to... you know... stay standing. See, how he keeps looking around after he falls? he's confused how he got on the ground. he'll figure it out soon" (he did)
Both behaviors were legitimately the funniest and cutest things I've ever seen in my life.
