@startrek2025 To a place called The Lionheart British Pub. Its Britishness is highly questionable but the food is good and we all enjoyed our meals.

A fun surprise today when my parents called out of the blue to take us out for an impromptu meal! We had a great time and I didn't have to cook dinner! Yay!

Well, it's May if we can believe it. It's a rather brisk Sunday morning here, one might even say bracing! In other words, it's cold! Ah well, church this morning, a Zoom chat this afternoon and friends coming over this evening. Busy but hopefully good day. Happy Sunday!

A while ago I turned notifications off for this account and forgot to turn them back on. Silly!

My husband is almost finished his lunch and it's just going on for 11:00 AM. It always breaks my sense of the day when he does this. So, all together now! It's still morning! It's still morning! It's still morning!

@bmoore123 Yeah. My boy is going on for 13. He's not much of a guide dog anymore and I certainly wouldn't bring him into traffic, but he still likes getting into the harness and walking around our park, though somewhat slowly. Poor creatures.

@badbede Not only that, but in Eastern Orthodox Christian teaching, any time God talks to anyone, it's Christ, even in The Old Testament. So Christ was right there with Job!
