Well, while there are big things happening around the moon, I'm just going off to Jerrabomberra Wetlands for the morning, to kill some blackberries. Daily life goes on, down here on earth.

Gawd, the helicopters have been constant here (we live opposite the hospital) for the past few hours. Is it mayhem on the roads? Or something else?
Edit: not hospital related. Surveilance of power lines prolly, like the other day. But on Good Friday?

Had some tomatoes, an eggplant and some leftover homemade pesto that all needed using up. Mixed the pesto through some warm brown rice and steamed veg, and whipped up a quick eggplant parmigiana to have with it. Ohmyverygawd.

Still half dark as I set off for my Sunday walk to the markets. This time next week we're back to normal!

Stone the movie: hilarious little Aussie movie from 1974. Everyone's in it. Some very bad acting and a pretty feeble plot, but also lotsa good stuff. Three stars Margaret.
