@anon_opin This is probably the most Mastodon reply imaginable to this but the reason they probably don't is the licensing fees associated with HDMI. Even then I'd want one of the expanded ports to be DisplayPort.

It's about time TV manufacturers realised we need more than 3 HDMI ports. -
We didn't need to move on from the era of Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows XP.@anon_opin I would rather not own consoles with terrible performance and thermal cooling issues thanks.
