  • My avocado trees are flowering!

    My avocado trees are flowering! Grown from seeds from a deceased relative's ranch in California, we built a greenhouse for the trees a couple years back and they are finally flowering... still no guarantee we'll get fruit, but it is a start... avocados have a complex flowering cycle with male and female flowers opening at different times depending on which kind of tree it is.

    @sarahtaber as long as the soil stays moist and the air isnt too dry... if those are canby they are good to zone 8 which is the south end of north carolina.
