We're all watching someone lose $500 to an AI agent that trades 24/7 with the enthusiasm of a casino and taking notes on the flames.@Javvad I've set up OpenClaw on a disposable system and today's defaults for it are fairly secure.
- Only has access to a sandboxed filesystem
- no ports available to external network
- still saves your API keys to a plain text file though
I connected it to a Telegram bot and it works great, but it doesn't really give me anything that the Claude iOS/Android app wouldn't give me.
The moment you start connecting it to your email, code repos, cloud files, etc it goes from relatively safe to super dangerous, so I'm not really sure what it's useful for.
Except as that expensive bonfire. Maybe rich people want that though, they've got weird kinks.
