@mattwilcox this may be playing out at a smaller scale, firms that had sacked copywriters or programmers (or other jobs considered easy AI tasks) are apparently starting to hire these people back.
The jobs will be less fun; they'll involve fixing the mess that happened in the interim.
I hope the turn happens at a smaller scale before whole nations get caught up in this mess!
There may be a skills shortage because people fell into the vibe-coding pit in recent years. Good for the rest of us!

Book 4 is so odd. And 5 and 6 are quite separate.
Finished Dune books 1 to 6 - all those by Frank Herbert.
I'm a little annoyed that it ends on a cliffhanger 
I know his son carried on the saga but I don't want to keep going - his son's forewords before each book were annoying enough, sometimes even giving spoilers while fawning over his father!
It was a good long saga though. First one the best of course, some got a bit long winded and super weird, the last two were interesting and different, written from another perspective.
