Apparently, subsidised code automation tools ("coding agents") that make it 10x easier to generate code is a big part of why GitHub has been having issues -
like, this is funny and everything, but does not **at all** accurately describe the median AI booster person.@peter I’m still shocked and saddened to have discovered this personally — my cousins voted for him. But the one that sent me over the edge was the American tourist of Indian descent who I met in Iceland and who told me he was going to vote for him, and when I asked, “the guy who wants to take away your citizenship and deport you and your parents?” He just said “well, that’s just words, he doesn’t mean it.”
I think of him weekly.
