    The dot com bubble never went anywhere, they're showing us that there were two.

    The second being formed by telecom & hardware companies alongside venture capital & web/software hyperscalers like google. Just clicked for me as I was researching network engineering and CDNs, made a post ranting about YouTube being anticompetition, consumer & developer because they muscle out everyone with their limits & infrastructure.

    YouTube's upload limit per video is 256gb, reencoded, transcoded into multiple resolutions, & stored. They've built the infrastructure & provide their services free of charge, enabling them to gamble alone at the table that the data collected & ads served will someday offset the massive costs. Selling everyone on false hopes & dreams. Lies that the web doesn't need limits, queues, or payment. In the end, google & the rest are anticompetition, anticonsumer, & antideveloper. This is insanity.
