Bottom line appears to be (surprise surprise) this isn't black and white, and there are more effective ways to reduce your impact on the environment than disavowing AI, streaming or any other digital activity!

@capnthommo @Nickiquote I'm really not sure they've thought through the impact of tagging the Greens as pro porn and pro drugs, I suspect there's a strong segment of their readership who will respond with "how do I vote for the pro drugs pro porn party?"

@dtwx @GossiTheDog I did once hear from someone who had to refuse a general access to an aircraft that the phrase you can use in this case is "Don't confuse your rank with my authority" (i.e. whatever rank you are, many roles in the forces give someone total authority over something and only their chain of command can override them).

So our local mobile phone tower is apparently offline again so I'm connected to one 3.2km away, which probably means as a boat dwelling water gypsy my Teams calls will suck today. Might need to pop in to my local cafe again (any excuse!) #boatlife
