And on a more nerdy note, if you're learning programming or want to sharpen your skills, I highly recommend Exercism (https://exercism.io).
It's completely free and has tracks for lots of languages. It even lets you solve exercises in your own editor using their CLI, which I love.
I've been using it for Python the past few weeks, and I've learned more about how to actually think through problems than I did with more guided platforms. It focuses on solving real challenges instead of just walking you through syntax.
If you like structured practice and leveling up your thinking, it's worth checking out.

On a completely different note: I finally started the process of getting new prosthetic eyes.
I've been wearing poorly fitting ones since I was 16. They became too painful and uncomfortable to tolerate, so I'd mostly stopped wearing them.
This week I got new molds made. They might need to be slightly larger next time, though. My ocularist wants me to wear the current shells and see if my eyelids open up more.
I could only manage a few hours before needing a break, so I'm definitely readjusting.
It's uncomfortable. It's tiring. But it also feels like progress after a long time.

Quick tech update — and an apology.
To everyone who tried to help me troubleshoot Tintin++ and MUD client issues on the Raspberry Pi 500: thank you. I disappeared from those threads and never properly followed up, and I'm sorry about that.
I ended up giving up on using the Pi as my main computer. Between Linux accessibility gaps and ARM package compatibility headaches, I hit a wall.
Right now I'm using my mom's 4 GB RAM laptop running Windows 11 Home and offloading coding work to the Pi over SSH in VSCode. It works… but everything feels like a battle on 4 GB. I don't have half the apps I normally use, and on rough days I can't even decompress with games.
Yesterday we dropped my mini PC off at a local repair shop. The diagnostic fee was $49, which felt reasonable, and the tech has worked on these machines before. That gave me hope.
We should get a call today. I can't wait to have it back.

@wx1g @mastoblind @main I think I have tried that, but it's been a while. When I did, I remember NVDA, which I was using, not reading post text if I was in focus mode and using j and k, just saying "document window" or something like that.

@wx1g @mastoblind @main Using Tuba now, but yeah, I don't care for the interface. I actually used to use Enafore and overall liked it, though sometimes I wished it had more features, so I might go back to using it again.
