@raimue @dansup Fair enough, but "boring" Pixelfed is currently celebrating 1m users - a huge number in Fediverse terms - and which I'd argue is significant traction. If Loops comes anywhere close to that, it will be a success.

It's worth pointing out that some of us discovered the Fediverse through Pixelfed - it's what brought us here. We didn't adopt Mastodon first then complain that Pixelfed wasn't equivalent. We found Pixelfed, then explored the Fediverse. I expect Loops to do the same.

@dansup There's nothing more to that quoted toot than "This new thing isn't the same as the thing I like, so therefore it must be bad".
