Quiz question. -
Quiz question.@cjwatson To be fair there's more of a gap between the destination and the number on one side than the other, which I think makes it a fair bit clearer. But not as clear as I'd like.

Quiz question.@cjwatson Well, if you wait for a minute then one of the numbers will change and one won't.
More seriously, another caption will be shown next to it with an "X Destination Y" rubric too. It's not a given that the leftmost one will leave first.
(if you know what the available lines are, and only one of X and Y corresponds to one of those available lines, then you can infer which way round it works)

Quiz question."Second book of Simonis, Chapter 6", is excluded as an option for being contextually implausible.
(I continue to maintain that STIB/MIVB's signage department has as its motto "If You Know, You Know")

Quiz question.Quiz question. You're in Brussels, waiting for either metro line 2 or metro line 6 to take you to Simonis station.
The board shows "2 SIMONIS 6"
I'm wondering how intuitive this is, so a poll:
Does "2 SIMONIS 6" mean:

Welcome to today's thread - #CrossBorderRail 2026 Tour Day 06 - 3 Mar - Ravières - Paris - Lille - Orchies - Tournai - Bruxelles Midi - Almere@jon …obv a second thought would be "Why are you saying that a train's empty if you're selling tickets for it?" but even as a sometime database person, I wouldn't interpret EMPTY as I'm supposed to here; I'd expect NULL which to me means "someone's not very good at building UIs that talk to not-always-populated databases".
ETA: ah, EMPTY is "it does have a value but it evaluates to a string with no content". (plus the "not very good at building &c. &c.")

Welcome to today's thread - #CrossBorderRail 2026 Tour Day 06 - 3 Mar - Ravières - Paris - Lille - Orchies - Tournai - Bruxelles Midi - Almere@jon From the point of view of a web user, saying "NO DETAILS AVAILABLE" would be far better than "EMPTY" since the latter would suggest to me "has no passengers on it".
