@Mrfunkedude I used to have my public chat https://matrix.to/#/#politipet:matrix.org showing on my Masto profile, similarly to you, and eventually removed it for lack of success. It seemed to me that people on Masto (at least the ones following me) did not give a damn about Matrix, except 2 guys.

@Mrfunkedude I was just wondering how you would advertise your Matrix.org use, in comparison to your Fediverse use. I have seen you already advertise your public Matrix chatroom in your Masto profile, that's why I'm asking.

Technically, Matrix.org is not Fédiverse – not even bridged afaik – although it is federated as well. To me, Matrix is chat/discord/slack, which Masto is "not really" – but could be and sometimes is used for that.
