Some of you will be glad to know that the #curl dashboard now features the "graphs in the dashboard" graph -
I am NOT making a Rust replacement, but — if you could fix one* thing about Rust syntax/semantics/etc.@yosh @cyberia @fasterthanlime tuple are a sad replacement for what C allows for example.
Found the rust rfc, 2102

I am NOT making a Rust replacement, but — if you could fix one* thing about Rust syntax/semantics/etc.@cyberia @fasterthanlime IIRC this has been an accepted rfc for a long time and nobody has implemented it. Or maybe it was just about unions ?

Can we just put it bluntly? -
Looking back at all (now) published vulnerabilities in #curl that were present in code from 2020 until now, at no point in those years was the share of "C mistakes" higher than 15% of all vulns.@bagder @jake pure guess, maybe vulns in curl take years to discover (especially as software engineering techniques improve and make them harder to write in the first place) so we’re not yet seeing the « latest » vulns, only the old ones ?
It should be fairly easy to disprove though, @bagder do you have data on how long vuln stay in curl on average/median ?
