Sooo. Das ist die magenta digitale Sonnenuhr. -
People are doing rocket science and quantum mechanics, and yet no one has invented a knitting needle that displays the current number of stitches it's holding.@MikeFromLFE No problem. It's a logical thought to have I'd say. The idea is that every time you encounter the counter (heh) in your work, you change it to the next number. It saves you from counting rows over and over but I know at least I am able to zone out and completely ignore the device when switching rows

Help?!@temporal_spider @HelenLockhart The stitch is 'picked up' in the image, as in, there's no loose stitches and I have the required amount of stitches on the needles. In the red/pink colorwork there are now gaps and irregularities that I really don't want there (it's the bottom side of the heel), so I wonder how I can go back and fix correctly.

Help?!Help?!
I dropped a stitch when attaching yarn for a forethought heel. Toe down sock, stitch on the toe-side of the hole so the stitches are 'upside down'. I cannot get my brain around how to pick it up properly. Anyone with a (link to a) good explanation? I really don't want to unravel the whole foot.
Edit: it’s technically picked up in the pic, but it doesn’t look right in the red/pink colorwork (gaping stitches). I’m looking for the ‘correct’ way to fix.
