@iFixit i had to repair my friend's motorola edge 50 fusion and had to replace a broken screen.
Those shenanigans glued the battery and put the display flex cable underneath it, and it's so frustrating.
My relative's redmi note 12s gonna need a battery replacement, and it's already complicated to replace it since the back cover needs to be unglued from the frame, but well atleast Xiaomi has a strip to remove the battery gracefully. Disgusting!
@jwildeboer What's ultimately and unirrevocably unique that even during ddos attack I could use the basic UI features after certain time (less than an hour), and within ~2-3h posting worked with a bit of retries (usually less than 2 attempts). Fascinating!
I don't mind currently registering on bluesky, but their decentralization design is much weaker than this fediverse, despite having more public attention from influencers.
@Natasha_Jay sure thing, i enjoy walking for long distances, since responsibilities are harder to handle. social media and marketing notifications was the best thing to shut off and no one (except family and friends or something utility) can intervene into this quietness
@MostlyHarmless i just blocked notifications (or even so, disabled marketing slop for some) from the garbage apps and absolutely don't have any news sources on phone. newpipe is beautiful music/video app that just plays everything i could throw at it, so technically phone is a music player and thing to run messaging apps (sms is dead really). also it's a powerful step counter and everything downloader (yt-dlp and termux nail it)
