@mattsheffield It's scary how the most reliable news organizations are also the smallest ones, however, this creates competition among a smaller audience. I oppose the news monopolies in every way but it helps to be optimistic.

Just so we’re 1000% clear: no state or local government should be giving financial incentives to build a data center.@erosalie The locals actually pay for both the clean water and the electricity in their taxes. The government ends up paying for the data center using your money. The data center should be using its profits to clean the water and fund electrical infrastructure but nobody gives a shit and instead the narrative is to burn more fossil fuels and pay for cleaner water using your taxes.
