Lund University had it's own newspaper until recently, but now there's just a PR department that has one-way communication. That means that Kalle at Sydsvenskan is practically the only journalistic entity covering the university. And he's doing a goob job, well worth my subscription!

Lund University had an open call for guest professors last year, and the response has been way over expectations with an extremely high quality of applications. As a result, I am very happy that Yingda Chen from Virginia Tech will be a visiting professor at the Center for Mathematical Sciences for two years, two months each.
She is doing very interesting work on low rank methods for high order discretizations of PDEs for interesting applications, such as Nuclear Fusion. This summer should be good!
Lund University. Why did you choose Lund University?I chose to apply for the visiting professorship because I was drawn by the excellent research reputation of Lund University. I have been visiting Sweden since 2019, and in particular Uppsala University and KTH. The open and collaborative research environment in Sweden is very appealing to me.
