I have no idea what is happening, despite my husband's best efforts.

Mostly, I just want a try of the slidy-grippy shoes combination. They look like so much fun.

Maybe I shall wear one grippy sock, and one normal sock next time I sweep the kitchen! That's got to be similar, right?

Hello folks that are here for the long tale of my recovery from my operation

It has now been a week (or will be in a few hours time). Today I am really struggling with it mentally, I am worn down by the pain and recovery process.

This has triggered a flare in my chronic pain too, which obviously isnt helping.

My poor longsuffering husband is having to put up with a very grumpy Petra.

For those keeping track,

I have had a rough couple of days, but now am feeling like I may actually get better from this operation and that I am not going to be like this forever

I am still exceedingly tender, but I am a little better than yesterday

I'm on my way home now

Seems to have gone well

Ok my Beige buddies, in just over 12 hours my operation will take place.

I'm going to need you to be in top posting form so that when I come round I have a whole heap of cool stuff to read.

Could I perticularly request cute animals, silliness, funny tales and adorableness please.
