@samsterby @paulhutchinson I would add to that, that Mastodon/Fediverse has a very interesting and qualified audience, many important and skilled key individuals for building a strong sovereign and prosperous future. It'd be well worth it for public institutions and holders of public office to connect with such an audience.But the real friction/pain is that there's no monetisation here. No "fame". No virality. So its the thinking man's social. Not the sugar high algo addict's social.
