Hello fediverse!Hello fediverse! I am finally getting around to doing an introduction post! I have been on this server since 2023, so feel free to click through to the Media tab on my profile to check out my interests.
My day job is publicly funded biomedical research. Otherwise, I am avidly pursuing outdoors activity such as hiking and fly fishing. In the cold dark months, I make due with fly tying and a couple of aquariums. In all seasons, I drink loose leaf tea and try to stay on top of python for scientific or otherwise high performance computing. In 2026, I am looking forward to getting my fitness journey back on track and getting back into the woods after some injuries.
