For instance, with titles, they should be set in italics/oblique. But then for titles within titles, *unlike normal emphasis* (where the inner emphasis goes back to upright Roman type), you should quote the inner title but leave it italicized. e.g. The Making of “Kill Bill”

(although really if you claim to actually be "semantic" then you should be actually providing markup for those situations, rather than just renaming the "italic" tag to "emphasis" and claiming you're now magically semantic)
